Watch: Colbert Chides GOP On Jobs Stance
Stephen Colbert and the folks over at the Colbert Report poked fun at Republican leadership for their idea to create jobs by keeping things exactly as they are.
The GOP want to make permanent all of the Bush tax cuts which are set to expire at the end of this year, which they say will help create jobs. Extending the tax cuts just on the richest 2% will add $700 billion to the deficit. So, in an effort to better understand the plight facing small businesses in the country, Stephen interviewed America's last marble manufacturer, Marble King President Beri Fox. She told Stephen that she didn't want the Bush tax cuts on the rich extended, she wanted the playing field evened out so that her small business could compete with foreign imports.
