John Stewart and the folks over at the Daily Show decided to take a look back at the devastating earthquake in Haiti and ask whatever happened to the $1 billion or so in aid offered by the United States?
Well, the answer is that one Senator put an anonymous hold on the aid bill (which any Senator can do to stop legislation from beign brought up for a vote), but it was discovered that the Senator in question was none other than Republican Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. It has been nine months since the capital city was levelled.
