This film is an official selection from Cannes about the story of Venezuelan revolutionary, Ilich Ramirez Sanchez (Carlos the Jackal), who founded a worldwide terrorist organization and raided the OPEC headquarters in 1975 before being caught by the French police. The screenplay was written by Dan Franck and Olivier Assayas and stars Edgar Ramirez in the title role.
