You may have read recently that the Defence Authorization bill before the Senate failed to be passed after a Republican filibuster.  That filibuster also killed the DREAM Act which would have allowed a path to citizenship for foreign born children brought here by their parents if they serve in the military or are pursuing a number of educational goals.  It also killed the repeal of 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' even though it would have required the military to sign off on the proposal after a year long internal investigation.

In the clip below, Jon Stewart and the folks over at the Daily Show decided to take a closer look at the rhetoric and gamesmanship surrounding this issue, as well as many others.
