G&M: Critics Set To Launch New Attacks On Untendered Deal To Buy Fighter Jets
Saying that Ottawa is moving "by
stealth," opposition parties and critics are launching a new wave of
attacks against the Harper government's $16-billion purchase of new
fighter jets.
The goal is to force the government to provide a clearer rationale for choosing Lockheed-Martin F-35s stealth fighters, and to explain why the purchase has to be done without going to tenders.
