In the wilderness cottage country north of Parry Sound, where a two-lane road peters out in the middle of nowhere, motorists can keep going through the bush on a winding roller-coaster of paved track called the Bunny Trail. Thanks to the Harper government, this little-travelled side road is now slated for improvement--at a cost to Canadian taxpayers of nearly half a million dollars.
