White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, and White House Counter Terrorism Advisor, John Brennan announced from the 2 day Nuclear Security Summit being held in Washington D.C., that Ukraine will remove all of its highly enriched uranium by 2012.  They have also said that they will be converting their old facilities to handle lower enriched uranium only, as part of the international push to secure weapons grade materials from terrorist groups and rogue states.
