Mythic Charges Accounts Multiple Times
Once upon a time, I was a very big fan of Mythic. They made my favorite MMO to date: Dark Age of Camelot. I'd probably still be playing DAoC if they hadn't made Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. I got into the WAR beta in May of 07. I unsubscribed from WAR in November of 09. The reason are many, but, ultimately, after two years of WAR, I didn't like the game it had become.
And good thing I left when I did!
Apparently, Mythic decided to really win over it's remaining playerbase by charging their accounts multiple times for funky amounts. You can read the thread on the official forums here. I'll sum up for you, though: If you had an active account with Mythic, you got charged anywhere from 2 to 10 times. Some people are out less than a hundred dollars, some people are out over a thousand. Mythic has been quick to get on the situation but a 24-36 hour window for fixing it just doesn't cover things when rent is due, you need to pay the hooker, or simply can't eat.
This is not the first time this has happened, apparently. In Dec 2008, a small amount of players were charged 99 times for their WAR subscriptions.
A while ago I made a chart detailing WAR's subs. It's accurate up to September 2009 (the latest numbers they released). I wonder how far it's going to dip after this debacle.

That is really unacceptable for that to have happened. I'm especially shocked because I know that you've been loyal to Mythic for a long time.
