Ex-MP Rahim Jaffer is scheduled to speak publicly Wednesday for the first time since allegations arose about unregistered lobbying, influence-peddling and improper use of his wife's parliamentary office.

Jaffer and business partner Patrick Glemaud are to appear before Parliament's government operations committee in Ottawa.
