President Obama Speaks At Prayer Breakfast
This isn't so much news as another pretty good speech by the President, where he discusses his faith and makes a call for cooperation and a civil discussion in government. Interestingly he added a line to his prepared speech in which he asked people not to question maliciously those of another faith, or those of no faith, or his citizenship.
This speech is really a continuation of the conversation President Obama has been having with the American people since the Massachusetts election went to Scott Brown, and is apparently being welcomed by the voters as his poll numbers have risen above 50 percent again. Although he did make a point to criticize Uganda's proposed anti gay law, and said that Americans are moving towards equality. If you will recall, the organizers of the prayer breakfast have members directly linked to helping Uganda pass its anti gay law, and many organizations called for the President to boycott the prayer breakfast over it.
Anyway, watch the 12 minute speech below and make up your own mind on his message.
