Reuters: Turk Who Shot Pope John Paul Released From Prison

Mehmet Ali Agca, the man who opened fire on Pope John Paul II 30 years ago has been released from a Turkish prison today.  He released a hand written note upon his release saying, "I proclaim the end of the world.  All the world will be destroyed in this century. Every human being will die in this century."  Obviously, there is still some concern as to the mental health of this individual and he will be undergoing tests at a military facility.
