After the devastating 7.0 earthquake which centred near the capitol of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, and and 9 days of rescue efforts, those efforts are coming to a close and being replaced by increased aid to the survivors.  The latest estimate is that somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 people are dead with more dying everyday because of lack resources.
