Reuters: Haiti Aid Picks Up, Doctors Fear Disease Risk

After a couple of days of criticism at the slow pace of the distribution of aid already on the ground in Port-au-Prince Haiti, officials are saying that things have picked up and the process is moving much faster now.  There are several reasons for the delay in aid reaching those in need, not least of which because of the destruction of infrastructure as well as the loss of life from the UN leadership to government officials, as well as the dissolution of the local police force.
