Youtube Short Leads To $30 Million Deal
Uruguayan Fede Alvarez posted his 5 minute short film called Ataque de Panico back in November and now he has inked a deal to make a movie out of his property worth upwards of $30 million. The studio who bought the rights is called Ghost House Pictures and is fronted by none other than Sam Raimi
"I uploaded [the film] on a Thursday and on Monday my inbox was totally full of emails from Hollywood studios," Alvarez told BBC's Latin American service, BBC Mundo. "It was amazing, we were all shocked."
