In the wake of a would-be terrorist attack on a plane travelling from Amsterdam to Detroit by a 23 year old from Nigeria and his claims that he was ordered to try and blow up the plane by Al Qaeda leadership in Yemen, focus has shifted from Iraq and Afghanistan to the tiny Middle Eastern country of Yemen.

We are now learning that Yemen has been a secret focus of the Obama administration.  The CIA sent several top operatives to the country last year to help train local police forces in counter terrorism techniques, while the Pentagon increased its spending in the country to $70 million over the next 18 months.
