The same day as 8 American contractors were killed by a suicide bomber, 4 Canadian soldiers and a reporter from Calgary were killed.  The journalist was identified as Michelle Lang, working for the Calgary Herald.

UPDATE: The soldiers have been identified as Sgt. George Miok, 28, Cpl. Zachery McCormack, 21, both of Edmonton, Sgt. Kirk Taylor, 28, of Yarmouth, N.S., and Pte. Garrett Chidley, 21, of Cambridge, Ont.
