The Washington Post is reporting today that a new policy enacted this fall by the Obama administration will remove hundreds, maybe thousands of lobbyists from Federal Advisory Panels.  According to the Post there are upwards of 1,000 panels and possibly 60,000 members spread out among them and with Washington boasting as many as 13,000 lobbyists, many of whom sit on these panels to advise the government on anything from troop levels to environmental policy, they would all be banned.
