Breaking news coming out right now that Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident early this morning near his home in Florida.  He is currently in a hospital with facial lacerations after hitting a fire hydrant and then a tree with his car after he pulled out of his driveway.  We'll keep you informed when we know more.

UPDATE:  The Windermere Florida Mayor has confirmed that Tiger Woods was released from the hospital after suffering facial lacerations in a car accident near his home this morning and that his injuries weren't 'that' serious.

UPDATE 2:  TMZ is reporting that Tiger Woods did not receive facial lacerations from his car accident, but that it was his wife who scratched his face after a confrontation about the possibility of him seeing another woman.  They are saying that as he drove away his wife chased after the car with a golf club and hit his vehicle before he pulled out of the driveway and consequently hit a fire hydrant and then a tree.

UPDATE 3:  Tiger Woods has released a statement saying that he was solely responsible for the accident and has now refused to be interviewed by police.
