What is being described as an ambush and the execution of 4 officers in uniform as they prepared for their shift at a coffee shop has spurred an intensive manhunt for a suspect believed to be responsible for the murders.  The New York Times is reporting that the person of interest is Maurice Clemmons, who is reported to have a violent criminal history and who had recently been arrested in Arkansas for assaulting an officer and raping a child.
