The Commission to Inquire that was charged with investigating allegations of the Dublin Catholic Church has released its final report today and the findings are damning of the church and of elected officials.  The crimes investigated against children in this report stem from all the way back to the 1930's, but many believe that hundreds more sexual assaults on children were perpetrated all the way through into the 1990's. 

The findings of the Commission said that Catholic Arch Bishops were more interested in keeping things quiet and protecting reputations and that sexual abuse was chronic, all while protected by individuals in government, than protecting children and bringing paedophiles to Justice.
